Randy William Martin is a multi-award-winning actor ((Best actor for "Where is She" (Assurdo Film Festival) - Award Of Excellence/Best Ensemble for his work in Apocalypse Party (KAPOW Intergalactic Film Festival) - Best Ensemble in a Comedy/Musical (KaPow Intergalactic Film Festival) for his work in Space People 2 - Merit/First place award for his work in four commercials for Al Terry Plumbing (NH Association of Broadcasting's Granite Mike Awards)) - Best Long Short Film, ('Buenos Aires Indie Shorts Awards') for The Street Photographer)) who was born on November 15, 1965, in Montpelier, Vermont, to William Frederick Martin and Mary Elizabeth (Blanchard) Martin. From an early age, it was apparent that he had a flair for comedy. While in grade school he was known to visit the principal daily due to his unique antics, this could also be because he has suffered from ADHD his whole life, a disability he has used to his advantage in his creativeness, in acting, and writing. On June 26th1987, while still living in his hometown of Waterbury, Vermont he entered a local variety show, impersonating 'Weird Al' Yankovic, this was his first time performing in front of a crowd. That performance made him realize that making people laugh and cheer was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. This also marked the first time he went by the name "R.W." Martin. In 1982 while waiting in the bus line R.W. was bullied so badly that he dropped out of school that day, and never went back, he went on to get a GED with above-average scores. He has written a book available on Amazon called Life Inside My Head A Scattered Tale Living With ADHD Ramblin's that talks about the struggles he has faced in life.
In the mid-80s and early '90s R.W. took advantage of the few opportunities where Hollywood filmed a movie or television series in Vermont. The Spitfire Grill, The Wizard of Loneliness, Ethan Frome, and "Rescue 911" are a few of the projects he has worked on as an uncredited actor. R.W. made a trip to Hollywood in 1994 on a greyhound bus to try to find an agent, to no avail. He is still trying to find an agent, hoping to break into the mainstream business. In the meantime, R.W. continues to contribute humorous videos to YouTube and works on local Vermont commercials and independent films, still trying to catch that break. If given the chance, R.W. Martin could be bigger than one of his idols, Jim Carrey.
In the 2000s things started picking up for R.W. and he found a couple of groups of independent filmmakers in the area and started working with them. He still has a ways to go but continues to find that next project, hoping it's the one where he will finally obtain "TRUE STAR" status. To all his Family, Friends, and Followers, he has already "Made It", but R.W. is looking for that opportunity where he can star alongside some of his idols, like Jim Carrey, Ryan Reynolds, Adam Sandler, Kurt Russel, or Jeff Bridges. Until then R.W. keeps uploading content to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube hoping someone sees his potential and his talents, perhaps that person is you?
UPDATE! - There is a Documentary titled RW, which documents the past 35+ years of his life struggling to make it big, it is slated to be out in 2024.- Director

Mark donated VHS copies of the film to schools for the deaf and libraries across the United States. It was shot on 35mm film, and was edited and cut by hand, just before digital became the industry standard.
